Organizing Partners

Beyond School Bells builds partnerships that lead to policies and actions at both the state and local levels resulting in more high quality, locally sustainable afterschool and summer programs for more Nebraska youth.

Click2SciencePD.org partners with afterschool programs to increase the confidence and competence of their staff in offering excellent STEM programs that support youth development and learning every day. We believe well facilitated STEM activities encourage youth to be curious, ask questions and develop skills for success now and in their future.

Nebraska Extension works across our whole state to provide expertise and support for youth, families, farms and ranches, communities and businesses.  Extension programs include Ag research and training, child and youth development, community vitality, nutrition, disaster resources and more.

The Nebraska Department of Education is a constitutional agency whose mission is to lead and support the preparation of all Nebraskans for learning, earning, and living.

The 21st CCLC is a competitive grant program to support the establishment of community learning centers offering expanded learning opportunities afterschool and in the summer. Nebraska’s 21st CCLCs create an afterschool environment focused on three overarching goals, 1) improving overall student academic success, 2) increasing positive behavior and social interactions, and 3) increasing active and meaningful family and community engagement.
